Barrio Café
Our favorite Mexican restaurant on the island! The colorful decor featuring portraits of Mexican icons and lucha libre masks creates a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We always start with their house-made chips and salsa, and love the Chorifu (house vegan protein) tacos or the mixed taco plate. Old Waialua Sugar Mill
A true hidden treasure. Stop by for free coffee bean and chocolate tastings that delight the senses. Auntie Reba and her husband warmly share stories alongside samples, making this a memorable experience.
Mele Mele Café
One of our favorite spots for fresh-baked pastries and a Cardi B Coffee (yes, it’s a thing—and it’s amazing!). The super cute interior adds to the charm. If you visit on a Sunday morning, don’t miss the farm stand out back offering the freshest veggies around. Say aloha to our farmer friends Jessica and Eddie!
The Porch Honolulu
A cozy café and surf shop tucked in Wahiawa, perfect for refueling with a hot mocha and pastries after a North Shore adventure. Friendly vibes and great conversations make it a must-visit.
International Fruit Stand
Hands down, the best mangoes you’ll ever taste. This small, private farm opens its seasonal mango stand (May to October) on the way to the North Shore. Every bite tastes like the love poured into the land by owners Scott and Rudy—be sure to say aloha when you visit!
