What is a Mantra?

A Mantra is a statement or slogan repeated frequently that contains energy that can be used to guide you on what to focus your energy on, and help you live your best life.

Originally in Hinduism and Buddhism, a mantra is a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation. The origin of the word mantra is Sanskrit and its literal meaning is “a thought behind speech or action.”

How can Mantras help you?

You might be thinking, “How can mantras help me?” By creating a set of morning mantras, you can guide your intentions for the day and tap into your peace and manifestation power. 

Your daily mantra keeps you tuned into your most important emotional, mental, and spiritual priorities for the next 24 hours. It sets the tone for the day. When you get distracted, say that your mantra helps you return to the present moment.

How to apply your Mantra

1. Say 2–5 mantras that speak most to you for that day. This helps you be intentional for the next 24 hours.

2. Repeat when needed during your meditation or throughout the day when you feel you need to give yourself a nudge to return to the present moment.

3. Your mantra can change depending on what you’re going through for that season or that day. It’s okay to change or add to your mantra as needed.
